Contract signed for second 216 Megapixel UltracamX

This november 12th, Slagboom en Peeters Luchtfotografie signed an agreement with Vexcel Corporation Austria for the delivery of a second Ultracam-X digital camera. With 216 megapixels it is the most accurate aerial camera system at this time. Vexcel was recently acquired by Microsoft.

In the coming spring this camera will be deployed over the Netherlands. This investment into new equipment was logical because of the improvements of the UCX as opposed to the older Ultracam-D system.
