Turbine-engine Piper Cheyenne |
|
|
|
The
Piper Cheyenne was the third addition to our fleet.
The airplane is used only for vertical photography.
The Turbine engines run on kerosene which makes the
airplane suitable to operate in Africa, Asia and Central
Amerika, where Avgas is not always available. The
Pressurized cabin eliminates the need to refill oxygen
when flying at higher altitudes, this makes the operation
less dependent of external suppliers. The Cheyenne
will cruise at a speed of 230 knots, thus making a
lot of production in a small window of suitable weather.
Its long range makes the ferry flight to a foreign
location easy. The ceiling of this airplane is 30000
feet.

Piston-engine Cessna Turbo C310R |
|
|
|
The
Cessna 310R was bought in 1996, and is also used only
for vertical photography.
It is especially suited for this task due to its fuel
efficiency and high cruise speed. With the complete
camera equipment installed, a pilot and a navigator
can fly for 7.30 hrs at an average cruise speed of 180
knots. The practical ceiling of this airplane is 25000
feet.

Piston-engine Cessna C180J |
|
|
|
This aircraft
was bought to have a good platform for the digital camera.
The aircraft has been equipped with all necessary modifications
for remote sensing, and is quite economic to operate, having a
decent cruise speed and a very low fuel consumption. The extra
fueltanks allow for very long flights over the area. This airplane
is mainly used in The Netherlands with an Ultracam digital
camera, Tracker navigation system and an AeroControl INS systeem.

|
The
Cessna 180J is our first airplane. This aircraft is
used for vertical as well as of for oblique aerial photography.
It is very suitable for small projects, railroads and
highways as the airplane is quick in turning onto the
next line. For the purpose of oblique aerial photography
the left aircraft door is modified with a hatch that
can be opened in flight, giving the photographer a clear
and unobstructed view outside. This aircraft is a real
workhorse, as it was originally designed as a bush plane,
for use in hard to reach areas and airfields. |
