Slagboom en Peeters Luchtfotografie BV – Safety and Information-Security Policy
The Management of Slagboom en Peeters are committed to conduct aviation activities to the highest possible standard of safety and security. It will comply with all applicable legal requirements, meet all applicable standards and always consider best practices. The safety of all who work in or fly with Slagboom en Peeters relies on the commitment of Management to a systematic and pro-active attitude towards identifying hazards, managing risk in order to prevent damage/injuries.
Each employee is responsible for communicating any information that may affect the integrity of safety. To promote an effective flow of information, Slagboom en Peeters applies a ‘Just Culture’ that ensures all safety related communication to be free of reprisal. Incidents or occurrences with elements of willful misconduct, gross negligence or criminal acts however, will be met with disciplinary and/or legal action.
To achieve its goals and objectives, Management will:
- Enforce safety and security as one of the primary responsibilities of all Nominated Persons.
- Support a ‘just culture’.
- Maintain an effective Safety Management System to analyse safety events received from internal reporting and external sources and implement mitigating measures.
- Establish and implement hazard identification and risk management processes in order to mitigate the risks associated with the organisation’s operations to a point which is As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP). Keep documentation of management of change process (MOC).
- Ensure that all employees are aware that Safety, Security and Compliance are Everyone’s Responsibility.
- Maintain a tested Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
- Maintain an effective Compliance Monitoring Systems to ensure that all customer and regulatory requirements are met covering all domains applicable to the operation.
- Develop the skills of employees to ensure that the Management System can be maintained through a process of recurrent training and an awareness program.
- The Accountable Manager sets safety and security performance targets and is responsible to ensure sufficient resources are available for the implementation of the Safety and Security Policy.
- All personnel shall cooperate with internal and external Safety and Security auditors.
- The daily responsibility for and the contacts with external organizations regarding compliance with legal requirements of data protection, lie with the Information Security Officer.
- All employees or service providers on behalf of the organization have the duty to protect the resources, including premises, hardware, software, systems, or information, under their care and to immediately report any suspected security breach.
- Adherence to information security procedures as outlined in this policy and guideline documents is accepted as part of standard practices within Slagboom en Peeters.
As Accountable Manager I am directly accountable for safety and compliance. I will ensure that there
are sufficient resources and funds available in order to allow our daily activities to be carried out in
accordance with our company standards and this Safety and Security Policy Statement.
